  1. Your walls look amazing! I can’t stop looking at them. You must have a lot of patience. Plus it’s a wall that can grow with your daughter in her new room. DIY is all about trial and error, but most of life is too. 🙂 love them!

    1. Hi Jenny. Yes to all! I was really trying hard to come up with a design that she could have all the way through her teenage years! I am hoping she will continue to love it. And with any DIY or art project it is important to just dive on in and learn as you go. Thanks for visiting our site.

That is a stunning accent wall!! I painted murals in all of my boys bedrooms (though we kept the same room as a nursey I redid the themes) and then they each got a new mural for their room when they moved into their new room and their “big boy” bed. It’s such a wonderful way to make the room special for them. I love the colors and the shape of your daughter’s new wall. Pinned

    1. Thank you for the kind words! I am impressed that you painted so many murals. Thanks again for sharing!

  4. Wow! Love. That. Wall. I think what I love is how it could work in multiple spaces. How special that your daughter gets to have this in her room. Also like the herringbone pattern in the bathroom. Was looking at a smaller pattern as a possible kitchen back splash. Adding this to my Pinterest collection.

I know exactly what you mean about moving a child out when a new little one needs their old space. You don’t want them to feel turned out of their space! When our 3rd and youngest was ready to move out of his cot we had a big shift round, our daughter got moved into what had been the nursery which became a newly decorated bedroom (with a rather lovely daisy mural) the middle one moved up onto the top bunk (very exciting!) and the little one got a big boy bed (whoop!)

    1. Hi Julie. Thanks for visiting our site. Any change makes for a crazy time with little ones.

  14. This came out amazing. And I know what you mean about the feeling of a diy success – it doesn’t have to be as large as a wall, just when you did it yourself and it wasn’t something you thought you could pull offf and then *boom* you did it!
